Kalilintad was originally the website of the Moro Human Rights Center's official publication. After having been up on the internet for quite sometime, it received many visitors. Partner organizations of the MHRC realized the importance of having a website and saw it as a viable medium in disseminating information. Since most of them did not have a website of their own and since they all shared common activities and information, it was agreed in a consultation meeting that Kalilintad should be transformed into a common website for Moro issues and the struggle for self-determination.

The new Kalilintad website is now a collaboration and collective effort of various Moro Non-government organizations, People's organizations and advocates of the Moro cause. It is a humble contribution to the continuing struggle of the Bangsamoro for Self-determination and to the pursuit of lasting and genuine peace.

Kalilintad encourages article contributions on any issues concerning the Moro people and their struggle for posting on the website. Articles can be sent to morohumanrights@yahoo.com. The website editorial staff reserves the right to edit submitted articles.
